In 2014, a new chapter began for education in Fukuoka. The 舞鶴小中学校 (Maizuru Elementary and Junior High School) opened its doors. This unique institution combined three existing elementary schools: Daimyo, Nishijin, and Maizuru Elementary. The former Maizuru Elementary School site became the home of this innovative combined school. It’s located a short walk from Akasaka Station, nestled within the city’s vibrant heart.
