Welcome to the Animal Forest. It is located in Uminonakamichi Seaside Park. This park is in Fukuoka City. The Animal Forest is home to around 500 animals. They represent about 50 species. Here, you can observe animals up close. You can even gently pet some of them.

The Animal Forest aims to let visitors connect with animals. You can see how prairie dogs live. Parts of their nests are transparent. At the Fureai Animal Hut you can pet guinea pigs. This happens from 1:10 pm to 3 pm.

The Animal Forest is designed to be open. It lets you learn about animals in a fun way. Feeling an animal lets you understand its warmth. This helps you respect life. You might even hold a guinea pig on your lap.

The park has safety rules. These rules protect the animals. When entering the Animal Forest use the provided mats to clean your shoes. Before and after touching animals use the provided sanitizer. Do not feed the animals food that is not allowed. Do not chase or scare the animals.

The Animal Forest was created in 1981. It was made as a place where people can enjoy nature. Families and friends can have fun here. The animals live in groups. They spend their days happily with their friends.
