In the end, nine innocent souls lost their lives. Four of them were Pakistani nationals, simply there to observe this holy day. The attack on the Imam Ali Mosque was a stark reminder that even in a peaceful nation like Oman, violence can erupt. But it also highlighted the resilience of the community.
