Transforming houses into homes is what The White Company does best. Founded in 1994 by Chrissie Rucker, The White Company began as a mail-order business. Its first catalogue was just 12 pages long. Now, it is a multi-channel international business.

Originally, Chrissie Rucker started with a small government grant and a 6,000-pound inheritance. The initial mailing list contained only 500 people. However, Rucker secured editorial coverage, including in the Financial Times, which led to 80,000 pounds in sales during the first year.

The White Company initially sold sheets, covers, and pillows. Over time, they expanded into home décor, dinnerware, fragrances, candles, furniture, and clothing. Later, The Little White Company, a children’s division, was created. In 2017, British Airways chose The White Company’s products for their business and first-class cabins.

Here at The White Company, you’ll find designer-quality products, mainly in white. For over 24 years, it has been synonymous with style and quality. Touching the indulgent bed linen or sampling the stylish clothing and fragrances offers a unique experience. The beauty of their collections can truly be experienced in person.

The White Company prides itself on its beautiful stores. They are located all over the UK. As of May 2022, The White Company had 70 stores, clearance stores, and concession stores. Sixty-one of these are in the UK, including concessions and clearance stores. There are also six US concessions, two Irish stores, one of which is a clearance store, and one Jersey concession.

The American concessions are in Nordstrom stores. The UK concessions can be found in Harrods and three Selfridges locations: Oxford Street, the Bullring, and the Trafford Centre. Stores are also in UK shopping centers like Westfield London, Westfield Stratford City, Bluewater, Liverpool One, and Meadowhall. The first shop opened in London’s Symons Street.

If an item is not stocked in your local store, the team can order it for you. You can collect it in-store or have it delivered for free, excluding beds and furniture. Check product availability by calling the store before visiting.

The White Company offers a personal shopping service in selected stores. Expert stylists can help you find the perfect outfit or refresh your wardrobe. Book a personalized appointment in stores like Bath, Bluewater, Brent Cross, Norwich, Stratford-upon-Avon, Symons Street, and Winchester.

Gift-wrapping service adds the perfect touch to your chosen present. The beautiful black and white gift boxes are available online and in-store, priced from just 5 pounds per box.

Gift cards and e-gift cards are also available. They can be ordered online or by calling 020 375 89 222. Note that these cards are not available or redeemable in concession stores.
