GPIB Betheseda

Established on February 18 1979 GPIB Bethesda stands proudly in Jakarta. This church isn’t just a building. It’s a living testament to faith. It began as a small gathering of Christian families. These families lived in Salemba Percetakan Negara and Johar Baru. They met regularly. They shared their faith and offered support. Over time their community grew. Their dedication blossomed into a thriving congregation. GPIB Bethesda became an independent church. It serves the communities of Salemba Percetakan Negara Johar Baru and Cempaka Putih. Today GPIB Bethesda ministers to over 186 families. These families are divided into three sectors for better pastoral care. The church has a rich history. Many pastors have served the congregation over the years. Each pastor has left their unique mark. Their contributions helped shape GPIB Bethesda into the vibrant place of worship it is today. GPIB Bethesda’s mission is clear. It aims to continually renew itself. This renewal stems from God’s word. It’s reflected in the lives of its members.
