Named after a governor, Taman Tun Sardon is a neighborhood with a story. Who was Tun Sardon Jubir? He served as Penang’s Governor from 1975 to 1981. Taman Tun Sardon was named to honor him.

The main road here is Hilir Pemancar. It runs through Taman Tun Sardon. Side roads branch off to reach the flats. The main approach is via Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah.

For education, there is SMK Datuk Haji Mohd Nor Ahmad high school. Residents can shop at the Gelugor Market. For healthcare, Lam Wah Ee Hospital is nearby.

Traffic can get busy near Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. An alternative route exists via Jalan Lembah.
