Established in 1945 from the remnants of an older school, the Max-Planck-Gymnasium has always been a place of transformation. Originally called “Oberschule für Jungen Pasing,” it transitioned to “Oberrealschule Pasing” in 1946, finally adopting its current name, the Max-Planck-Gymnasium, in 1965.
But let’s get back to that beer. Since 2012, a special project allows students to participate in brewing their own beer right here on school grounds. The Max-Planck-Gymnasium boasts a diverse range of extracurricular activities, from traditional choices like choir and orchestra to the unexpected, like beekeeping.
