Beneath a sky the color of a peacock’s feather, the Cam Piramit Sabancı Kongre ve Fuar Merkezi rises like a multifaceted jewel. This isn’t just a building. It’s a testament to Antalya’s vibrant spirit, a hub where ideas converge and cultures intertwine. The Cam Piramit Sabancı Kongre ve Fuar Merkezi opened its doors on October 1, 1997. The occasion was the 34th Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. Imagine the excitement as the first guests walked beneath the soaring glass panels, their faces reflecting the blue titanium shimmer. Architects Levent Aksüt and Yaşar Marulyalı envisioned this pyramid. They encased it in metal and glass, and surrounded it with tranquil ponds. The building rests within Hasan Subaşı Cultural Park. It offers access from all four sides, inviting visitors to explore its wonders. The main hall’s roof reaches a height of 23 meters. It’s a marvel of engineering, covered with 5,710 square meters of colored titanium blue insulating glass. The largest hall, the Toros Hall, named after the majestic Taurus Mountains, can hold up to 2,400 people. Picture a conference here, with ideas bouncing off the walls like the echoes in a mountain canyon. For exhibitions, the space transforms. It provides over 3,000 square meters of floor space. The Meltem Hall, named for the gentle local breeze, is slightly smaller. It accommodates up to 440 people. The Dϋden Hall, its name echoing the nearby waterfalls, holds 340 people and boasts four fixed simultaneous interpretation cabins. The Cam Piramit Sabancı Kongre ve Fuar Merkezi also houses two smaller exhibition halls. These versatile spaces can be used for meetings, art galleries, or even cozy cafeterias. And if you step outside, the King’s Road awaits. This open-air exhibition area spans a massive 15,000 square meters. It features ten half-open exhibition centers, ready to showcase everything from local crafts to international innovations. Even the 500-car parking lot can transform into an exhibition space. The Cam Piramit Sabancı Kongre ve Fuar Merkezi is more than just a convention center.
