Designed by local firm GF & Partners Architects in collaboration with the internationally renowned Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, LLP, the PBCom Tower embodies a blend of local and global architectural influences. The structural design, a masterpiece by Aromin & Sy + Associates, ensures the building’s stability and resilience. Constructed by Samsung Construction Company Philippines, Inc., a subsidiary of the company responsible for iconic structures like the Petronas Twin Towers, Taipei 101, and the Burj Khalifa, the PBCom Tower stands as a symbol of engineering prowess. The PBCom Tower is clad in a double-glazed, unitized curtain wall encased in aluminum frames. This not only enhances the building’s aesthetic appeal but also contributes to its energy efficiency by sealing off heat and noise. As night falls, a monumental lighting effect transforms the tower into a beacon of light, further emphasizing its iconic presence in the Makati skyline. Inside, the PBCom Tower offers a sophisticated blend of glass, natural stone, and metal, creating an elegant and professional atmosphere.
