Noblesse Oblige. That’s not just a motto. It is the driving force behind Pasig Catholic College. Founded in 1913, Pasig Catholic College began as Escuela Catolica. Father Pierre Cornelis De Brouwer of the CICM fathers established it. Initially, it was located inside the convent of the Immaculate Conception Parish. This makes it the first school in Pasig.

Pasig Catholic College has grown significantly since its humble beginnings. The Bahay Paaralan was its first dedicated building in 1931. Initially an exclusive school for boys, Pasig Catholic College is now coeducational. Today, it stands as the largest Catholic school in the Diocese of Pasig.

What trials has Pasig Catholic College faced? During the Japanese occupation from 1942 to 1945, classrooms turned into garrisons. The Japanese even planted a bomb under the main campus. In 1990, an earthquake damaged the old college building.

Pasig Catholic College embraced coeducation, starting in 1995. Grades 1 and 2, along with the first two years of high school, welcomed both boys and girls. The five-story Administration Building replaced the old wooden structure in 1994. This new building accommodated high school and college classrooms. A new cafeteria was built that same year.

Pasig Catholic College offers a wide array of academic programs. These include Kindergarten, Grade School, Junior High School, and Senior High School. Senior High School offers STEM, ABM, HUMSS, and ADT strands. The College provides courses such as Business Administration, Information Technology, and Education. Also available are Psychology and Hospitality Management.

Pasig Catholic College has earned significant recognition. The Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities or PAASCU granted Level 3 accreditation to the Elementary and High School departments. The College Department was granted Level 2 accreditation.

On June 26, 2006, Pasig Catholic College received another honor. The Philippine Marketing Awards Institute recognized it as the “Most Outstanding Catholic School” in Pasig.

The Centennial Wall of Legacy stands at the main entrance of Pasig Catholic College. It showcases the college’s rich history and achievements. The PCC Alumni Association Inc. established this commemorative mural.
