This is the home of the Private University in the Principality of Liechtenstein, also known as UFL for short. It opened its doors in the year 2000. It’s a small, but prestigious university with an emphasis on two main fields of study, medical science and law. Though it may be small in size, UFL holds its own in the academic world, even boasting partnerships with a variety of institutions spread across the globe. The Private University is a unique institution that has been a beacon of learning and innovation in Liechtenstein. It was originally known as the “University for Human Sciences in the Principality of Liechtenstein”. This change happened in 2007 after the establishment of a Law School within the university.
