Dr. Willmar Schwabe, a pioneer in homeopathy, was born in 1839. He founded his company, “Homöopatische Centralofficin Dr. Willmar Schwabe”, in Leipzig in 1866. It was translated into many languages. Later, it became the official “Deutsches Homöopathisches Arzneibuch” in 1934. It is now part of the official German Pharmacopoeia.
