Then, in 1960, President Sukarno, inspired by a visit to Disneyland, envisioned transforming Ancol into a world-class entertainment destination. This vision took shape with Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, also known as Ancol Dreamland. Today, Ancol is a vibrant tapestry of amusement parks, beaches, and cultural attractions.
