Imagine vibrant music fills the air. Graceful dancers sway to ancient rhythms. Skilled fire knife dancers perform daring feats. The Waikiki Starlight Luau is Oahu’s only Lagoon Beachfront Luau. It offers a unique outdoor setting.
Our luau is known for having the best cuisine on the island. You will love the exotic flavors. Locally sourced island ingredients make our feast special. Enjoy Hawaiian delicacies. Savor tasty American favorites too. There is something for every appetite.
Let’s dive into the luau schedule. Doors open at 5:00 pm. The lei greeting starts at 5:45 pm. Capture the moment with a photo. Enjoy a welcome beverage and live music. At 6:00 pm, we introduce the food. A group hula lesson follows. Dinner begins at 6:30 pm. A feast of tropical favorites awaits. The Waikiki Starlight Show starts at 7:30 pm. It is a voyage across the South Seas.
Experience the magic up-close. Choose our Premier Seating. You will receive a shell lei greeting. Enjoy premier seating closest to the stage. Sip on non-alcoholic Tropical Sunset Fruit Punch. You also get two beverages. Be first to enjoy the feast. Or select our Golden Circle Seating. It includes a lei greeting. Enjoy Mai Tai Punch and one beverage.
The Waikiki Starlight Luau showcases native Hawaiian music. You will hear Polynesian chants. The dancers perform beautiful dances. They come from Hawaii, Polynesia, and the Pacific. Watch Waikiki’s most dramatic fire knife dance. Four acrobatic fire knife dancers will amaze you.
The Waikiki Starlight Luau happens on Sundays and Tuesdays. It takes place on the Rooftop of the Mid-Pacific Conference Center. Fridays are special. The luau moves to the Great Lawn. It is next to the historic Rainbow Tower. After the show, watch the Friday fireworks. The fireworks happen on Duke Kahanamoku Beach.
If it rains before the luau begins, we will move indoors. This depends on banquet room availability. If we move indoors, there will be no fire dance. If a room is unavailable, we will cancel the luau. You will receive a refund. If it rains after the luau begins, we may continue outdoors. In that case, we will provide ponchos. No refunds will be issued.
