A beacon of faith and community, the Community Church Warragul has stood for generations as a testament to the enduring spirit of Warragul. The Community Church Warragul wasn’t always known by its current name. It was originally established as a Wesleyan Methodist Church, its foundations laid in 1888. A prominent figure in 19th-century architecture, T J Crouch, designed the building. The Community Church Warragul was actually Warragul’s first brick church. The two towers, reaching towards the heavens, are its most distinctive features. In 1938, the church’s exterior walls underwent a transformation, receiving a fresh rendering. Years later, in 2004-2005, the main building was restored and expanded. Architect Audun Pedersen skillfully incorporated an extended service area, seamlessly blending the new with the old. Today, the Community Church Warragul continues to serve its community, its doors open to all who seek solace, inspiration, and fellowship.
