The church’s history began to change in the 1950s. Spanish-speaking ranch hands and farmworkers started settling in the area. Their devotion sparked a need for a local church. After years of planning and over two years of construction the dream became reality.
On December 7 2013 despite icy roads and freezing temperatures approximately 1300 parishioners gathered for a glorious dedication mass. Bishop Keven J Farrell officiated. The new church and chapel were finally dedicated. It was a historic event.
