Is it a coincidence that the name “Harvest” perfectly reflects the House of God Church’s journey? The House of God Church, established in Dallas, Texas, has a story as rich and vibrant as the city itself. It all began in the spring of 2013, fueled by the vision of its founding members. They dreamt of a community deeply rooted in biblical teachings, brimming with the Holy Spirit and driven by a commitment to sharing their faith. Their vision quickly blossomed into reality. Starting with a modest group of sixty members, the House of God Church witnessed a harvest of faith. It grew into a flourishing congregation of over three hundred individuals from all walks of life, coming together in the Dallas Metroplex to praise and worship. Initially, the church didn’t have a permanent home. They held services in various locations, including hotels and even other churches. The turning point came in July 2013 when they secured a temporary space at the Park Plaza Tower in Dallas. This move marked a significant step in their journey, providing a much-needed sense of stability. Finally, in May 2018, the House of God Church received a true blessing – a permanent home in Rowlett, Texas. This move solidified their presence in the community, signifying a bountiful harvest of their years of dedication and faith.
