Dr. Tony Evans, a name synonymous with Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church, had a vision. It wasn’t about building a megachurch, at least not initially. It was about bringing the word of God to the world. Yet, here in Oak Cliff, his path found its purpose in 1976. Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church began humbly, nurtured by a small group with a big vision: “Discipling the church to impact the world.” From bible studies in the Evans’ home with just ten members, to a congregation of over 10,000 strong, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church is a testament to the power of faith in action. The church isn’t confined to these walls. Its reach extends through national radio and television, broadcasting Dr. Evans’ teachings far and wide. But its heart remains here in Oak Cliff, a beacon of hope and a testament to the enduring power of faith.
