This unassuming spot nestled amidst the bustle of Blackhall, was once a hub for weary travellers. They would stop at the House O’Hill Roadhouse. It provided respite and refreshments to those journeying through. Imagine the hum of conversation, the clinking of glasses, and the aroma of hearty meals. The House O’Hill Roadhouse served as a popular stop for those making their way through Blackhall. It wasn’t a purpose-built roadhouse. This establishment had a history woven into the fabric of an older inn. Though no longer a roadhouse or even a pub, the building still stands today. It now serves a different purpose: a place of business and commerce as offices.
