From humble beginnings in Keilor AOG Enjoy Church East stands tall. Its story began in 1998 with Shane and Georgie Baxter. They became pastors of Keilor AOG. The church grew rapidly. Their vision expanded beyond the local area. They renamed the church Brimbank Christian Church. Several moves later a permanent building was needed. A local businessman provided a building for the glory of God. This became the Melbourne West location in August 2001. A phenomenal provision from God. The Baxters’ vision grew further. They aimed to reach beyond Melbourne’s western suburbs. They sought to impact all of Victoria. In 2006 Brimbank Christian Church was renamed Enjoy Church. This reflected their focus on the enjoyment of life from Ecclesiastes 8:15. A bold vision emerged in November 2009. Five locations in five years 2010-2015 was the goal. Amazingly this was accomplished. The fifth location opened just three years later in November 2012. Today Enjoy Church boasts numerous locations across Australia Japan and Cambodia. The church’s purpose is to reach people for Christ in their city state and world. They give God all the glory for their success. They look forward to impacting even more lives for His Kingdom. They face exciting challenges but with God’s help they believe they will achieve all He has placed in their hearts. Enjoy Church East is a testament to faith perseverance and God’s unwavering provision. It’s a place of worship community and outreach. A beacon of hope and joy in the heart of Melbourne.
