“A testament to faith and community, Keystone Baptist Church stands tall on East Rosedale Street in Dallas.” The church’s history is deeply entwined with the College Hill Baptist Church, another beacon of faith in the city. When College Hill decided to expand its reach and planted a mission, the seed of what is now Keystone Baptist Church was sown. Back in 1969, the mission started with a trial period, holding Sunday school in a little house on the property. Seeing the need for a full-time program to serve the blossoming neighborhood, construction of a chapel began. The first service was held on Easter Sunday in 1972. Keystone Baptist Church, with its humble beginnings, is a place where faith and community blossom side by side. The church’s dedication to spreading the word of God, coupled with its strong sense of fellowship, has created a haven for many in Dallas for decades. The congregation has embraced its mission to love God, love others, and love life. The spirit of this thriving church continues to inspire and uplift, just as it has done since its humble beginnings.
