Imagine a place where modern music meets timeless faith. That’s Gospelhouse Karlsruhe. It is an evangelical free church. Gospel means “Evangelium”. Gospelhouse is a “House of the Gospel”.

Since 1999, Gospelhouse Karlsruhe has stood here on Winkelriedstraße. But its roots go back further. In 1972, a small group began meeting. They gathered in a home in Stutensee-Blankenloch. By 1973, they rented space. It was in Karlsruhe-Mitte on Klauprechtstraße 12.

In 1978, the Missionsgemeinde Karlsruhe e.V. formed. The church joined the Bund Freikirchlicher Pfingstgemeinden in 1995. This was a key step in their development. Then in 1998, they acquired this property. After renovations, they celebrated the opening in March 1999.

The church changed its name in 2006. It became Gospelhouse Karlsruhe BFP KdöR. This name reflects its mission and affiliation.

Look around you. You’ll see a community that values connection. Each person contributes their talents. They live by the motto “Miteinander füreinander”. This means “Together for each other”. They support the church through donations.

Gospelhouse Karlsruhe is part of the Evangelische Allianz Karlsruhe. It is also part of the Bund Freikirchlicher Pfingstgemeinden KdöR. Markus Jock has led the Gemeinde since 2009.

Services happen every Sunday at 10:00 AM. There is also an international evening service each month. Since 2016, Gospelhouse has focused on international outreach. Many people from Arab countries have found a spiritual home here. It is a diverse, international Gemeinde. Since March 2022, Ukrainian families have also joined the services. About 100 people attend each service.

Notice the languages spoken here. The main service is in German. It is translated live into Arabic. You can also listen in Russian via headphones. The sermons are relevant. The music is modern.

Gospelhouse Karlsruhe also supports new ventures. Since January 2025, it supports the founding of an international Gemeinde in Karlsruhe-Hagsfeld. This is a daughter Gemeinde of Gospelhouse.

Consider the “Kids4Jesus” program. It happens during the main service. Children learn and grow in their faith. There are also groups for teens and young adults. YOUTHOUSE is for teens. OPEN HOUSE is for young adults.

Reflect on the history and the mission. Gospelhouse Karlsruhe puts God and people first. It strives to follow biblical principles. It embraces people from all nations. This church is a testament to faith, community, and service.
