Ever imagine a place where young athletes’ dreams take flight? Right here in the heart of Texas, you’ll find the Combine, a place pulsating with the energy of future football stars. The Dallas Cowboys Youth Combine, held at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, isn’t just an event. It’s a proving ground. Imagine stepping onto the same turf where NFL greats train, pushing yourself to your limits, coached by former NFL players and coaches. This Combine, open to students in grades 2-8, offers a unique experience. It allows kids to measure their speed, strength, and agility. They participate in the same drills used at the NFL Combine, getting a taste of what it takes to compete at the highest level. For a registration fee of $125, participants receive much more than just a day of drills. They get two tickets to a Dallas Cowboys preseason game at AT&T Stadium, Nike performance apparel, a Combine certificate signed by the Dallas Cowboys Rookie Class, and even lunch provided by Whataburger. Everyone gets drafted, receiving draft grades ranking them from round 1-7, fueling their competitive spirit and dreams. The Combine at Ford Center is meticulously organized, starting with check-in at 9:00 am, followed by introductions and stretches. The real action begins with combine testing at 10:00 am. After refueling with lunch at 12:30 pm, there’s more stretching and then position-specific drills at 1:45 pm. The exciting culmination arrives with the announcement of draft grades at 2:45 pm, before closing remarks at 3:30 pm. The Combine here isn’t just about physical prowess. It’s about nurturing a love for the game. It’s about fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. It’s about inspiring young athletes to reach for the stars, right here at the Combine.
