“Lost? Need directions?” a kind voice startled me. I blinked, realizing I’d been standing outside Musholla Al Musyawaroh for a while, lost in thought. This small mosque, nestled in Jakarta Timur, exudes a quiet charm. Musholla Al Musyawaroh is tucked away on Jalan Dukuh V, in the Kramat Jati district. It’s part of the Pegadaian housing complex. This gives it a unique, community-centered feel. The mosque may not be grand in scale, but it holds a significant place in the hearts of the locals. Musholla Al Musyawaroh serves as a vital spiritual hub. It’s a place for prayer, reflection, and community gatherings. The management of Musholla Al Musyawaroh is a dedicated team. Agus Mustofa leads as chairman. Ndharu Eka Sandhi serves as both secretary and one of the Imams. The financial matters are handled by Septian Dwi Rahadi and H. Achmad Arief Budiarso. Another Imam, H. Lasminto, guides the prayers alongside Ndharu Eka Sandhi. Matasan diligently cares for the mosque as the Marbot. I learned that Musholla Al Musyawaroh hosted special events. In July 2022, Ustadz Abrorie Rofi’i led a captivating series titled “Kajian 1001 Hadits yang Menggugah”. This translates to “A Study of 1001 Inspiring Hadiths”. These sessions were held on two Sundays, July 17th and 31st. They offered a deep dive into the teachings and wisdom of the Prophet Muhammad. The gentle hum of voices reciting prayers draws you in. It creates a sense of serenity amidst the bustling city. The mosque’s simplicity speaks volumes about its focus. It’s a place dedicated to pure worship and community connection. The warmth of Musholla Al Musyawaroh extends beyond its walls. It embraces all who seek solace and spiritual guidance.
