A century ago this building hummed with a different kind of energy. It wasn’t the roar of applause or the hush of anticipation. No this was the Tramshed Theatre’s previous life. It was the rhythmic thrum of machinery. Power for Woolwich’s tram system pulsed through these very walls from 1916 to 1953.
