A very Serious Gallery! That’s the name of this unique art space, tucked away in Chicago’s vibrant West Town Art District. Here, in this three-room space, the art world is turned on its head. It began in 2022, with a vision to create a space for emerging and mid-career artists to shine. While most galleries focus on established names, A very Serious Gallery embraces the unconventional and celebrates the fresh perspectives of those just starting their careers. It’s not about serious art in the traditional sense. It’s about serious art with a twist, a playful approach that makes you think twice. From solo exhibitions that showcase a single artist’s vision to wild group shows that burst with creative energy, the gallery is a whirlwind of artistic expression. It even boasts a backroom filled with over 500 works of art, ready to find their perfect homes. A very Serious Gallery truly lives up to its name, offering a refreshingly unique experience for art enthusiasts of all kinds.
