In 1975, a striking structure rose from the former site of the Panhard factories. This was the Tour Rimini, part of the Ensemble Masséna complex. The Tour Rimini stands tall at 92 meters with 32 levels. It offers a residential haven amidst the bustling cityscape of Paris’s 13th arrondissement. Architect Jean Sebag envisioned the Ensemble Masséna as a collection of the district’s tallest towers. Unlike the nearby Olympiades complex, the Masséna towers connect directly with the ground. This design choice allows for gardens and pedestrian walkways, enhancing the living experience for residents. The Tour Rimini demonstrates Sebag’s dedication to blending functionality and aesthetic appeal within a high-rise setting. It’s a modern marvel in a historic city.
