Tucked away on Titoki Street, ACG Parnell College Titoki Campus isn’t just another school. It’s a living testament to Auckland’s vibrant educational landscape. ACG Parnell College first opened its doors in 1998. Originally, it catered to students from Years 7 to 10. The school underwent a transformation in 2007. It expanded its reach to encompass Years 1 to 13. It was also renamed during this period. ACG Parnell College is one of four campuses. The Early Learning School is nestled on Park Road. The Primary School occupies a spot on George Street. The main ACG Parnell College building is right here, on Titoki Street. A short walk away, on Davis Crescent, you’ll find the Senior Campus. This bustling hub caters specifically to Years 11 to 13, offering the Cambridge Assessment International Education curriculum. ACG Parnell College is now part of Inspired Education Group. This international organization specializes in for-profit schools. The school boasts a diverse student body, with approximately 1674 students in Years 1 to 13. Class sizes are capped at 28 students. The student population reflects Auckland’s multiculturalism. In 2019, the Education Review Office noted an ethnic composition of 13% New Zealand European, 70% Asian, and 17% other ethnic groups. This blend of cultures creates a rich and stimulating learning environment at ACG Parnell College Titoki Campus. The school’s leadership has seen some transitions over the years. Larne Edmeades served as principal from 2005. He played a crucial role in developing the Titoki Campus. After his departure in 2016, Ed Coup stepped in as Acting Principal. Russell Brooke took the helm in 2017. Currently, Damian Watson leads the school, supported by a dedicated team of two Deputy Principals, an Associate Principal, and an Assistant Principal. They oversee a staff of roughly 100 teachers and over 20 administrative personnel. ACG Parnell College Titoki Campus is more than just bricks and mortar.
