Father John King served as the first pastor. He oversaw the church’s early years. His leadership laid the foundation. Successive pastors guided the congregation. The church grew. Its influence extended beyond the walls. Monsignor Eric Powell became the third pastor.
A significant expansion occurred in 1997. Four classrooms a library and a parish multipurpose room were added. The Lyceum followed adding a gymnasium and more classrooms. The church itself underwent a complete update and restructuring in 2005. Masses were temporarily relocated while this massive project took place. It reopened in 2010 transformed and renewed.
The Church of the Epiphany is not only a place of worship. It’s a repository of art. The interior showcases exquisite marble. Mazzolini Artcraft Co. designed and supplied the liturgical furnishings. The marble itself was quarried in Central Asia. It was meticulously crafted in Italy. The floors and walls feature additional marble from Twin City Tile and Marble Company.
