How about a peek into the world of Danish communication? Here stands the former location of PeopleGroup. It was more than just a company. It was a corporate commune of creative minds.
PeopleGroup was founded in 1999. But its roots stretch back to 1973. That’s when the advertising agency Wibroe, Duckert and Partners was established. This marked the beginning of a long journey in Danish communication.
Jan Duckert and Henrik Juul were the co-founders. They had a vision. They believed in the power of diverse talent. Bringing different companies together under one roof could create something amazing. That’s why they created PeopleGroup.
The group consisted of 14 companies. These included ArtPeople, People’sPress, and We Love People. Each company brought its own unique skills and expertise. Together, they formed a powerhouse of creativity.
PeopleGroup was a 100% Danish-owned company. It housed around 175 employees. Each contributed to its unique identity. The leaders of these companies were partners. They were co-owners of their respective companies. This fostered a sense of ownership and collaboration.
PeopleGroup had an interesting media connection. It co-owned the nationwide radio channel Radio24Syv with Berlingske Media. The radio channel shared a building with PeopleGroup. This created a hub for media and communication.
The group comprised a diverse range of companies. Wibroe, Duckert & Partners was a key part. Other companies included NetPeople, WeLovePeople and RelationsPeople. DialoguePeople, TradePeople and EventPeople were also involved. JuniorPeople, CulturePeople and InsidePeople added more depth. Einstein Film, MEGA and Fridthjof Film completed the group. Each company played a vital role in PeopleGroup’s success.
PeopleGroup aimed to be generalists in integrated communication. They had three core companies. These provided expertise in advertising. They also excelled in communication, media, and content creation.
The logo of PeopleGroup reflected its collaborative spirit. It was designed in collaboration with Jan Duckert, Henrik Juul, and Thomas Bræstrup. The logo represented the unity of diverse talents.
Although PeopleGroup no longer exists in its original form, its impact on Danish communication remains. It was a place where creative minds came together. They produced innovative and impactful work. The story of PeopleGroup reminds us of the power of collaboration. It shows what can be achieved when diverse talents unite under a common vision.
