“Seeking serenity?” That’s the question I pose as we gather before Mushola Nurul Falah. This place offers a peaceful escape from Jakarta’s vibrant chaos.
Mushola Nurul Falah stands as a testament to community faith. It is a place where daily life intertwines with spiritual devotion. Let’s delve into its story.
There are actually two separate locations named “Nurul Falah”. We are currently standing in front of the one in Rusun Petamburan. This Mushola Nurul Falah began in 1980. It started with a land area of 1000 square meters. The building itself covered 500 square meters. It is located on Jl Administrasi 1 in Central Jakarta.
The other Mushola Nurul Falah is situated within the Ministry of Home Affairs complex in Kalibata. Also in South Jakarta is a Masjid Nurul Falah. This location is found in Kp Pisangan on Jl Harsono R.M. It was established around the year 2000.
Back here at the Mushola Nurul Falah in Petamburan, the mosque hosts routine recitations. On Mondays after Maghrib prayers, Habib Ibrohim bin Ali bin Sahil leads the session. Tuesdays feature Habib Muhammad bin Salim Alathos. Fridays offer recitations by Habib Sahil bin Ali bin Sahil after Isya prayers. These gatherings build a strong sense of community.
Imagine the sounds of prayer blending with the city’s hum. Picture the community gathering for evening recitations. Feel the sense of unity that defines this space.
Mushola Nurul Falah is more than just a building. It embodies the spirit of Jakarta’s Muslim community. It represents faith, unity, and tradition. As we continue our tour, remember the stories and the sense of peace found here. It is a reminder of the diverse and rich tapestry of Jakarta.
