Born from a desire to know Jesus Family of Faith started in 2001. It emphasized daily home discipleship. A personal relationship with God was vital. This relationship was nourished by daily Bible reading and prayer. Daily conversations with God strengthened faith.
Family of Faith helped people develop consistent spiritual habits. This was like building physical habits at a fitness club. The goal was to know God better and become more like Jesus.
The relationship with God was a gift of grace through Jesus. It wasn’t a result of works or habits. Family of Faith encouraged people with God’s grace. They provided support with the Holy Spirit’s power. This helped people overcome difficulties. It helped them succeed in their daily walk with God.
Family of Faith is a Biblically-based church. It loves God and His people. They seek God’s will through worship and prayer. They boldly proclaim the Gospel to everyone. They are committed to helping people have a personal relationship with God. They work to encourage and strengthen each other.
The church provides teaching fellowship and ministries. They meet the needs of local families. They create an atmosphere of acceptance. Love compassion and awareness are important. They believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It’s fully complete and without error. The Bible contains everything needed for salvation and a righteous life. It’s the ultimate authority in all matters of faith and Christian living.
Family of Faith believes Jesus is the divine Son of God. He is the only sacrifice for sin. He’s a guarantee of God’s never-changing love. They believe He died rose again and is seated at God’s right hand. He will return to earth one day to receive believers. People are eternal beings. Eternity is spent either with God in heaven or without God in hell. Faith in Jesus grants eternity with God.
God the Father still speaks to His children through the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit always agrees with God’s Word. It speaks to the hearts of God’s children. It leads them into God’s will for their lives. The church is not a building or denomination. It’s the believers themselves. Family of Faith welcomes you to join their community of faith.
