Yarrambat Park is located in the suburb of Yarrambat. This town is 24 km north-east of Melbourne’s Central Business District. The park offers wide open spaces. These spaces are perfect for playing cricket, kicking a football, or flying a kite.

Did you know that Yarrambat was once a gold mining area? In the late 19th century, it boomed. After the mining slowed, the land was cleared for farming.

The name “Yarrambat” comes from the Woiwurrung language. It means “high hills” or “pleasant views”.

PGA-qualified golf professional services can also be accessed. A free practice area with a putting and chipping green are on offer.

Yarrambat Park Golf Course received the Inclusion Initiative of the Year award at the 2024 Victorian Golf Industry Awards.

War Memorial park within Yarrambat Park is home to several sports clubs. These include the Yarrambat Junior Football Club and the Plenty Valley Cricket Club. The Yarrambat Netball Club also calls it home.

The Diamond Valley Archery Club is located here. It has an outdoor target range and an indoor range. The Northern Suburbs Fly Fishing Club shares a clubhouse with the archery club. The Greensborough Model Aircraft Club has been flying high since 1966.
