Twenty-four February 2017 a new era dawned in Bukit Panjang. Hillion Mall opened its doors. This wasn’t just any shopping mall. It was a landmark. Hillion Mall became the largest shopping centre in Bukit Panjang. It combined retail residential and transport hubs. This innovative mixed-use development was a first for western Singapore.

Imagine the excitement. A new mall in a growing district. Hillion Mall integrated seamlessly with the Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub. The Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange was inside the building. Bukit Panjang MRT and LRT stations were nearby. This convenience made Hillion Mall instantly popular.

Before Hillion Mall this space housed the old Bukit Panjang Bus Interchange. It served the community for thirteen years. Then it closed in December 2012. Construction on the new hub started in 2013. This transformation took four years. The result was Hillion Mall a modern marvel.

Hillion Mall boasts four floors. Two are above ground two are below. There’s even an underground carpark. Open spaces like the MRT Plaza and an atrium host events. The mall’s layout is unique. The first floor is split into Seoul Street and Asian Fusion. These sections are divided by the bus interchange. Many restaurants are here. The second floor holds Kopitiam Subway and childcare facilities.

Basement one houses Best Denki a McDonald’s and various shops. Basement two is home to NTUC FairPrice a supermarket and numerous other stores. The MRT station is linked via an underpass. Access is easy. The LRT station and bus interchange connect on the first floor.
