Did you know that the city of Dallas actually owns Adventure Landing? It’s a 30-year-old amusement park with go-karts, mini-golf, batting cages, an arcade, and more. The city bought it because the landowner only received offers from developers who didn’t want to keep it an entertainment venue. The city wanted to preserve this piece of Dallas and save the adjacent soccer fields. The city bought the 13.5 acres for $13.6 million. The park is run by the same management with the same name, so you can still enjoy your favorite rides.
