Shanghai Wheelock Square is located in Puxi. Construction started in 2003. It was completed in 2010. The building reaches a height of 270 meters. That is 887 feet. It has 59 floors. The Wheelock Square covers an area of 114,075 square meters. That’s over 1,227,000 square feet.
Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates PC designed the Shanghai Wheelock Square. The Wharf Holdings Limited developed it. The Wheelock Square is the sixth-tallest building in Shanghai. The building has 58 floors. It offers prime office space.
Notably, Wheelock Square sits across from Jing’an Temple Station. You can access it via Shanghai Metro Lines 2 and 7.
Wheelock Square received nominations and commendations. In 2011, it was nominated for CTBUH’s Best Tall Building Asian & Australia award. The International Property Awards Asia gave it a Highly Commended High Rise Award in 2013. In 2011, it won a Bronze at MIPIM Asia for Business Centers.
