“Gandasari Group hadir di Hub Space 2024” echoes in my mind. Gandasari, a name resonating with ambition, is a quarter in Tangerang City. It is more than just a location. It is a hub of activity. Let’s explore the story of Gandasari.

Gandasari’s story is intertwined with Indonesia’s rich maritime history. The Gandasari Group, headquartered in South Jakarta, has operational hubs spread across Bojonegara, Pulo Ampel, and Gasing. This strategic presence underscores Gandasari’s significance.

In 2010, the population of Gandasari was 25,792. This figure reflects a vibrant community. People live and work here. Gandasari pulses with life.

Gandasari Group’s presence at Hub Space 2024 underscores its commitment to growth. Wayda Syakhroza, Director of Gandasari Group, highlighted the opportunity. The chance to connect with major players in the transportation sector.

The company’s diverse business units demonstrate its strength. These span from maritime industrial zones to shipyards, ports, and mining ventures. This diversification strengthens Gandasari’s economic foundation.

Gandasari Group targets the construction of 26 sets of barges in a year. The company also provides repair services, handling approximately 84 vessels within ten months. Sukma Adinata, GM of Gandasari Shipyard, emphasizes this dedication.

Currently, Gandasari Group is expanding its shipyard in Bojonegara. The construction of two gravving docks will enable the company to accommodate Panamax-class vessels. These advancements demonstrate Gandasari’s forward-thinking strategy.

CEO David Rahadian envisions further expansion into Cilegon, Palembang, and the Riau Islands. These expansions will establish a comprehensive ecosystem. This includes ports, industrial zones, and maritime support facilities.

Notably, Gandasari is also linked to Sunan Gunung Jati. Sunan Gunung Jati was one of the Walisongo. He played a key role in spreading Islam across Java. Born in 1448, he became the second Tumenggung of Cirebon in 1479. Later, he was known as Syarif Hidayatullah.

Sunan Gunung Jati’s legacy continues through various institutions. These include the Universitas Islam Negeri Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta and the Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. These names honor his contributions.

Gandasari stands as a testament to Indonesia’s dynamic spirit. It is a blend of maritime prowess and historical significance. From its bustling streets to its strategic economic role, Gandasari offers a glimpse into Indonesia’s future. It’s a place where tradition and progress converge.
