They even won the Chatham Cup in 1931. Eventually, in 1959, they returned to the name Manurewa AFC. Before 1983, Manurewa AFC shared Manurewa War Memorial Park with the Manurewa Rugby Club. Today, while the main pitch remains at War Memorial Park, they also use Jellicoe Park for matches. The club boasts junior, youth, and senior teams, continuing the long legacy of football at Manurewa War Memorial Park.
