The year is 1991. Construction crews are busy. They are building Masjid Al-Muntaha. It is located in Kayu Manis Barat Number 99 East Jakarta.
Masjid Al-Muntaha is a general-purpose mosque. It holds a significant place in the community. This is because it has served as a center for worship for over three decades. The mosque’s foundation rests on a 230 square meter plot of wakaf land. The building itself covers 250 square meters. More than 200 people attend prayers regularly. Twenty individuals serve as muezzins. Ten young people are active participants. Five individuals serve as khutbah speakers.
The mosque’s construction marked a pivotal moment for the neighborhood. The community had long dreamed of a place to gather and pray. Masjid Al-Muntaha finally made their dream a reality.
