Imagine residents of RT 019/02 gathering here. It is their initiative that brought Musholla An Nur to life in 2008. Bapak Indro dedicated this land. He entrusted it to the An-Nur Foundation. Bapak Meizir leads the foundation.
Musholla An Nur stands in KOTA ADM. It is located in Jakarta Timur. This place provides solace. It gives guidance through prayer.
Let’s observe the February 2025 prayer schedule. The schedule reflects devotion. It shows commitment to faith. It starts with Shubuh at 0-3:35 on February 1st. It goes through Isya’ at 12:23 on February 28th. These times guide daily life. They synchronize the community.
Consider the meaning behind prayer times. “Apabila kamu telah menyelesaikan sholat berdzikirlah kepada Allah.” This translates to: “When you have finished prayer remember Allah.” Remember Him whether standing sitting or reclining. If you feel secure perform the prayer completely. Indeed prayer is a duty. Its time is designated for the believers.
Imagine the proposal for Musholla An Nur’s renovation. It seeks support. It calls for contributions from institutions and individuals.
Think about the role of ilmu or knowledge. Ilmu is the spirit of worship. Without ilmu worship is like a body without a soul. Ilmu ensures that deeds align with Allah’s will. They follow Rasulullah’s example.
Picture Nuzul al-Quran. It marks the revelation of the Quran. The Quran descended to lawh al-mahfuzh. Then it came to Prophet Muhammad gradually. It took about 21 to 25 years.
Remember that the tradition of writing the Quran began with the Prophet. Initially it was forbidden. The fear was mixing it with hadith writings. Sahabah wrote verses for themselves. One example is the mushaf of Ibnu Mas ‘ud.
In Grogol Selatan Kebayoran Lama stands Masjid An-Nur. In 1912 it began as a Musholla. By 1970 a small mosque stood there. It was shaped like a stage. A deputy governor helped later. Tombs around the mosque were moved. From 1978 to 1991 it grew. Governor Wiyoga inaugurated it on December 30 1991. This marked the first phase.
Anas Efendi envisioned Masjid An-Nur. He saw it as a perfect place of worship. Not just for five daily prayers but for community growth. A place for Majelis Taklim majelis Dzikir and deliberation.
Jakarta Selatan has many places of worship. There are 705 mosques. There are 6035 Mushollas. This excludes those in offices.
Musholla An Nur is more than a building. It embodies community initiative. It represents faith. It symbolizes Jakarta’s rich religious life.
