Founded on principles of quality, Dr. Willmar Schwabe stands as a testament to one man’s dedication. It all began with a pharmacist dissatisfied with the inconsistent quality of homeopathic preparations in the mid-19th century. Dr. Willmar Schwabe sought to revolutionize the field.

Dr. Willmar Schwabe, a pioneer in homeopathy, was born in 1839. He founded his company, “Homöopatische Centralofficin Dr. Willmar Schwabe”, in Leipzig in 1866. More than 1,400 of them work in Germany. International business is a key driver. It accounts for about 75% of the Schwabe Group’s total sales.

Olaf Schwabe represents the fifth generation of the family. He is the great-great grandson of Dr. Willmar Schwabe. He leads the Group Executive Team as CEO. This team defines the global strategy. It is responsible for operational management.

The Schwabe Group embraces a holistic approach to health solutions. It integrates digital solutions like apps. The company participates in innovative start-ups.
