The Richard Mithoff Track and Soccer Fieldhouse was opened in 1999 to provide a superior training venue for the University of Texas at Austin’s track and soccer teams. It’s a space where athletes train, compete, and even get a special hydrotherapy treatment. But the story of the Richard Mithoff Track and Soccer Fieldhouse is intertwined with the story of Richard Mithoff himself. This prominent attorney, who is known for his impressive trial record, is a proud UT alumnus. He donated a significant sum to support the construction of this field house. Richard Mithoff also endowed a series of scholarships at UT, further demonstrating his commitment to the university.
