Right here, in front of Gedung B FKIK at UIN Jakarta, 250 people lathered up together to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of the Indonesian Nurses Association. This was part of a nationwide effort involving 200,000 participants across Indonesia, all striving for a spot in the MURI records. Gedung B FKIK, a hub of medical learning and community engagement, was a fitting location for this momentous occasion. This act, coordinated by FKIK’s Nursing Science program, highlighted the importance of hand hygiene, a practice championed by the World Health Organization. The WHO’s six-step handwashing technique, demonstrated here at Gedung B FKIK, goes beyond simply rubbing with soap for 20 seconds. It involves meticulous scrubbing between fingers, rotating around thumbs, and a final cleanse with closed fingers, ensuring the elimination of harmful bacteria. Gedung B FKIK also plays a vital role in international collaborations. The faculty co-hosted the 1st International Integrative Conferences on Health, Life and Social Sciences (ICHLaS) at the Titan Conference Center in Bintaro. This conference, focused on integrating health, life, and social sciences with Islamic perspectives, attracted researchers and experts from around the globe. The event, a milestone for Gedung B FKIK and UIN Jakarta, promoted interdisciplinary discussion and fostered new research partnerships.
