Prospect High School became a full four-year school in 1960. Before that, it served as a freshman campus for Arlington High School. In 2011, the school was awarded Grammy Signature Gold Status, placing it among the top seven high school music departments in the country.
The Knights, Prospect’s mascot, are a symbol of the school’s spirit and pride. Many successful alumni have gone on to big careers, such as actors Bruce Boxleitner and Jennifer Morrison.
