The story began in 2006. Varughese had a powerful experience. He felt called to plant a church in Kuala Lumpur. After two and a half years he returned to Perth Australia. He unified two congregations under the Kingdomcity name. This represented a mission to bring God’s kingdom to every city.
Kingdomcity Penang offers services every Sunday. There’s a full kids program. Connect Groups meet every two weeks. Their vision is to connect equip and empower people. They aim to bring the reality of God into everyday life.
The church produces contemporary Christian music. Kingdomcity has released three albums. Hope Place of Worship and In God We Trust are among their releases. There’s music for everyone. Kingdomcity Youth and Kingdomcity Kids also have their own albums and singles.
