“Open at 3:30-21:30”. That’s what the sign says for Masjid Al Inaayah. Masjid Al Inaayah stands as a testament to faith in Jakarta. It is more than just a place of worship. It is a community hub.
Jakarta Selatan proudly recognizes Masjid Jami Al Inayah. It is located on Jl. M. Kahfi 1, Cipedak, Jagakarsa. The mosque represented Jakarta Selatan in the 2022 Lomba Binaul Masajid (LBM). This competition is held at the provincial level in DKI Jakarta.
The DMI Jaksel chairman, Ust. Drs. Eddy KS, welcomed the jury to the LBM 2022 event. He hoped that the LBM would motivate the mosque’s administrators. He wanted them to transform the mosque. Not just as a place of worship but also as a beneficial social space for the community.
KH. Ma’mun Al Ayyubi, Chairman of DMI DKI Jakarta, expressed his delight. He found Masjid Jamj Al Inayah suitable for the LBM competition. He hoped participating mosques would become role models. He also envisioned them joining the DMI Award at the national level.
Mr. Munjurin S.Sos, M.Si, the Mayor of Jakarta Selatan, shared his pride. He was happy that Masjid Al Inayah participated in the provincial LBM. He hoped Jaksel would win LBM 2022 again. Masjid An Nur from Jaksel won it the previous year.
The LBM 2022 included four assessments. The first was Idaroh or Mosque Administration. The second was Imaroh or Mosque Activities. The third was Ri’ayah or Mosque Physical aspects. The fourth was a Child-Friendly Mosque assessment.
The LBM assessment at Masjid Al Inayah concluded at 11:15 am. All attendees enjoyed lunch and Zuhr prayers together.
Another Masjid Al Inayah exists in MAN 15 Jakarta Timur. Renovations on this Masjid Al Inayah began in August 2022. They are nearly 75 percent complete. Akmal S, S.M.hum, from DKM Masjid Al Inayah MAN 15, expressed gratitude. He acknowledged the progress. He recognized the efforts of donors. They included the MAN 15 Jakarta Timur academic community. Also the parents who contributed significantly.
The Masjid Al Inayah MAN 15 Jakarta Timur renovation involves a unique fundraising program. It is called “gerakan 1000 rupiah”. This translates to a movement of 1000 rupiahs each day. Students donate to the mosque renovation fund.
This initiative encourages students to earn good deeds. They gain rewards from mosque activities. These activities include rohis, prayer, and religious events.
Whether it’s the Masjid Al Inayah in Jakarta Selatan. Or the one in MAN 15 Jakarta Timur. Each serves its community in unique and inspiring ways. They stand as beacons of faith. They promote unity in Jakarta.
