This park, covering a modest 2,000 square meters, is relatively new. It emerged in the 1990s as part of the Manin-Jaurès development project, a testament to urban renewal. The very ground beneath our feet, rich in gypsum, speaks to the geological history of the area. Look around! The soaring buildings that enclose the Square du Petit-Bois presented a unique challenge for the landscape architects. They chose shade-tolerant plants and trees.
