Their original Victorian charm is still evident in their layout.
Imagine walking through the gardens, surrounded by the rustling of leaves and the soft chirping of birds. Six lush lawns, stretching across seven acres, invite you to relax and soak in the beauty. Trees planted over two hundred years ago stand watch over the grounds. They are however, a private haven, restricted to the residents of the surrounding terraces. The Regent Royal and Carlton Terrace Gardens Association, tasked with preserving these gardens, carefully maintains their exclusivity.
But, every year, during the Doors Open Days, these gardens briefly open their gates to the public, offering a glimpse into a world of tranquility and beauty. For a few precious days, we can all experience the secret allure of these magnificent gardens.
