Behold! Seven Figures emerge. Seven life-size figures seem to swim through the walls of the Evans Pool. These are the Seven Figures, a stunning art installation by Paul Marioni.

The Seven Figures were installed here on February 1, 1989. They are not painted. They consist of cast glass tiles held together with silicon mortar. Inner aluminum frames support the glass. Outer frames are made of aluminum.

Each figure is a bit different. Together, they create a sense of movement. The Seven Figures depict people swimming through water.

Paul Marioni created a work measuring 57 feet by 31 feet. The figures add beauty to the Green Lake Community Center. They offer a tranquil contrast to the bustling activity inside.

Imagine the artist carefully crafting each glass tile. Think of the planning needed to arrange them just so. The result is a captivating scene. It captures the essence of swimming.

The Seven Figures enhance the Green Lake Community Center experience. They provide a moment of reflection. They inspire a sense of wonder. The art is a gift to the community.
