Awakening to faith’s embrace, the Harvest Time Fellowship in Auckland extends a warm invitation. The Harvest Time Fellowship isn’t just a building. It’s a vibrant tapestry woven with threads of faith, family, and service. The church, led by Pastor Danny Ninal, embodies the verse from Joshua 24:15: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” This verse resonates deeply within the Niñal family, shaping their lives and ministry. Pastor Danny’s journey is a testament to the intertwining of faith and intellect. His background combines theological studies with a passion for technology. He holds a Master’s degree in Theology, alongside a Master’s in Information Management and a Diploma in Network Computing. This unique blend allows him to connect with his congregation in dynamic ways, often incorporating animations, videos, and photos into his sermons. The Harvest Time Fellowship isn’t confined to Sunday services. It’s a community that extends beyond the walls of the Botany Library, their current meeting place. The church is rooted in the Evangelical Free Church tradition, emphasizing personal faith and commitment to spreading the Gospel. Pastor Danny, along with his wife Jia and daughter Danielle Angelika, relocated from the Philippines to New Zealand in 2006. They answered the call to plant the Harvest Time Fellowship, nurturing it from its inception to the thriving community it is today. They even held their First Strategic Planning Meeting at the Niñal’s residence on July 22, 2023. The church’s mission is threefold: bring in, train for, and send out. They strive to welcome newcomers, nurture their faith through teachings, and empower them to share God’s love. Their vision focuses on planting healthy churches that, in turn, plant more healthy churches, extending their reach throughout New Zealand and beyond. Pastor Danny’s creativity extends beyond his sermons. He’s a published author of two novels, “Charity is Missing” and “Siblings (subtitled The Brothers of Mercy),” among other works. He’s also a talented artist, his home adorned with his own photographs, acrylic and charcoal paintings. His love for bonsai cultivation and cooking further showcases his multifaceted nature, always with a touch of artistic flair. And music, especially smooth jazz, is the constant backdrop to his endeavors. The Harvest Time Fellowship in Auckland is a place where faith comes alive, where technology meets theology, and where a family’s dedication has blossomed into a vibrant, growing community.
